Restoring a sandstone feature wall in Clear Island Waters

Sandstone is one of the easiest surfaces to ruin with a pressure washer. Blast it and you open the grain — the stone looks bright for a fortnight, then holds dirt worse than before. This Clear Island Waters entry wall had gone black on the shaded side, and the owners had been quoted a full re-render by someone else.

It didn’t need rendering. We used a low-pressure treatment that lifts mould and grime out of the pores without touching the stone surface, then sealed it once dry. The natural colour came back, the black was gone, and the seal means the next clean is years away, not months.

Stone-heavy homes are exactly why we treat every surface differently. See what that looks like for pressure cleaning in Clear Island Waters and neighbouring Broadbeach Waters.
