Bringing a Mudgeeraba tennis court back from green

The owners had stopped using their court — the acrylic surface on the shaded southern half had gone green and slippery, and the lines had all but disappeared under a film of moss and algae. A high-pressure blast would have chewed up the acrylic coating, so we didn’t reach for one.

Instead we soft washed the whole court: a treatment that kills the growth at the root, followed by low-pressure rinsing so the coating stays intact. The moss browned off over the next few days and washed away, the colour came back true, and the line markings were sharp again by the weekend.

Shaded hard courts and pool surrounds are some of our most common jobs across the southern Gold Coast — Mudgeeraba, Reedy Creek, Robina and the valleys behind them. If yours is going the same way, the same method applies: see our Gold Coast pressure cleaning service and ask for a free quote.
